Celebrating Excellence
USA Muay Thai recently held the 2025 Grand Nationals tournament . This event went from March 13-16th, 2025 at the Chase Event Center in Wilmington, Delaware. This second annual tournament brought together athletes of all ages and skill levels. Moreover, the event truly showcased the growing prominence of Muay Thai in the United States.
Elite competitors at the event vied for spots on the USA Muay Thai national team and thus the opportunity to represent the USA at international events like the IFMA World Championships. Additionally, novice and intermediate tournament athletes tested their skills in eight-person brackets and competed for Grand National Champion titles and custom-crafted belts. Alongside impressive competitions and awards, the event further enriched participants’ skills by hosting multiple educational seminars that featured expert insights into Muay Thai techniques and international rule sets.

But, the Grand Nationals isn’t just a competition. It’s also a catalyst by providing a pathway for athletes to transition into professional careers. For example, Alumni of USA Muay Thai programs have achieved success in major organizations such as ONE Championship and GLORY Kickboxing. Thus, the Grand Nationals helps athletes refine their skills and serves as a springboard for talent.
Moreover, with recent milestones such as Muay Thai’s inclusion in international events like the Asian Youth Games, tournaments like the Grand Nationals help further solidify Muay Thai’s standing on the world stage and inspire future generations of fighters. Thus, the 2025 Grand Nationals celebrated athletic excellence and further elevated Muay Thai’s status across the United States and beyond.
