"I have been using low quality shin/instep pad for years. I finally got these. Wow... what an upgrade. These do not shift around my calf like many of the comparable shin gaurds. They are lightweight but the padding is very impact resistant. These are great for both light and hard sparring. They protect your legs but still give you feedback. You know if it would have hurt you without the pads unlike some of the much thicker shin pads. I recomend these for anyone."
