On the harder side but I love em
"I've been making sure to review all of the vegan gear combat corner put out because I know saying the word vegan will turn a lot of you away. That said, all of the gear has been exceptional and these are no different. We've been using these at the gym for around a year know and they are holding up fantastically. And they get used 6 days a week. Now they are on the harder side. I always find belly pads to be all over the place and it can come down to preference. If you want they really soft padded ones, these are not it. The padding is thick but also a little dense and stiff. It does soften over time but it isn't like some of the Fairtex or Windy belly pads I used where it's like hitting a pillow. Definitely a stiffer feel. Can't think of another pad that is similar to this off the top of my head. Fits great, the velcro is great, and overall I love this. But of all the HMITV gear I've tried from this company this is the one I feel isn't for everyone. I feel most will either love these or hate these. Unlike the Thai pads where I think everyone would enjoy those."
